Terms of use

Last updated: October 26, 2026

These terms apply to the Unchud app, listed on the App Store as "Unchud: Stop being a chud" ("the app"), made by an independent developer, lukazsdev ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them, together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What the app does

Unchud helps you eat less fast food. You log meals, ride out cravings with a short timer and challenge, earn in-app coins ("Aura") for cooking and resisting, and spend them on treats you planned for. It shows a streak, a daily score and an estimate of the money you didn't spend on fast food.

Not medical advice

The app is a habit and motivation tool. It does not give medical, nutritional or weight-loss advice, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or treatment. Money-saved figures are estimates based on what you entered. Physical challenges suggested during a craving are optional; only do what is safe for you. If your relationship with food feels out of control, please talk to a doctor or an eating disorder support service, such as Beat in the UK.

Coins

Aura points are a game mechanic inside the app. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, exchanged or transferred, and may be reset if you delete your data or the app.

Subscriptions

Using the app requires a Unchud Pro subscription, billed through the App Store. Prices and the length of any free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Delivery app lock and reminders

Where the app offers to lock delivery apps, it relies on Apple's Screen Time, which you can switch off at any time in iOS Settings. Reminders rely on iOS notifications. We do our best, but we can't guarantee that a lock, alert or reminder will always work, and you remain in charge of your choices.

Acceptable use

Don't try to reverse engineer the app, get around its subscription, or use it for anything unlawful.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to keep the app working but can't guarantee it will always be available.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
